IFS (also known as parts work) is a trauma-informed model that views the psyche as made up of “parts” or inner voices, roles, or subpersonalities that each have their own needs and histories. You might notice a part of you that feels anxious while another part wants to avoid conflict. Parts work therapy helps you build a compassionate relationship with these parts and access your core Self, which is naturally wise, calm and compassionate.

Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy FAQs
-
It may be a good fit if you’re navigating depression, anxiety, or PTSD; feeling stuck in traditional therapy; or curious about consciousness exploration in a safe, supported setting.
-
Ketamine can create a temporary shift in consciousness, allowing access to deeper emotional material. The KAP series is structured to include preparation, medicine sessions (managed by a prescriber) and integration.
-
Ketamine is a fast-acting medicine shown to help with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. It’s often used in short-term protocols and can offer relief for those feeling stuck in traditional therapies. Psilocybin, by contrast, tends to be more time-intensive and can facilitate deeper, more intense emotional work. While both can support healing, they differ in duration and intensity. A free consultation is a great way to explore whether KAP aligns with your unique therapeutic goals. At this time, I only offer KAP and do not work with other psychedelic medicines.
-
Yes. IFS offers a powerful framework for integration. Clients often find that parts emerge more vividly during medicine sessions, and IFS helps make sense of those experiences with compassion and clarity.
